GEARED FOR
Individuals seeking a Class A Commercial Driver’s License that want to drive over-the-road or locally.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program helps prepare individuals for a well-paying career in commercial truck driving. Individuals will gain the knowledge and skills needed to become an entry-level over-the-road truck driver.

Each course is 8 weeks in length
Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm

COURSE COSTS
COURSE COST: $4,950
(includes Tuition & Course Fees, Textbook, DOT physical, Drug Screen, reflective vest)
Fees Not Included: CDL Permit ($44) and CDL License ($54)
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age 21 by completion of training for interstate operations, 18 for intrastate (driving within state lines).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that reflects not more than 3 moving violations within past 3 years, and reflects not more than one alcohol-related, drug-related, or careless or reckless conviction within the past 5 years. *
- Must pass DOT physical and Drug Screen. It does not matter if you possess a medical marijuana card – there are no exemptions, you have to pass drug screen to obtain permit or CDL. *Note: Individuals may be granted a waiver from above on a case-by-case basis. Potential students should contact us if they feel they have an issue with any of the above.
TUITION ASSISTANCE/FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
This program is eligible for tuition assistance for individuals that qualify. MACC partners with Missouri Job Centers, Vocational Rehabilitation, and other agencies that provide tuition assistance and supportive services to students to enable participation in this program. Payment plans are also available, but do require $1,000.00 down payment to start course. Please contact us to request assistance or setup payment plan.
FAST TRACK Financial Aid
