What pre-entry courses are required for acceptance into the program (23 hours required)?

Do I have to have my high school transcript?
Yes. Your high school transcript is required as part of the admissions requirements. Submit all official transcripts to MACC’s Registrar to include your High School/GED/HiSET and any other colleges attended (including as a Dual Credit Student)—it is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all transcripts are ordered and sent to MACC. This should occur 4-6 weeks prior to application deadline to ensure sufficient time for transcript evaluation by the MACC Registrar.

Do I have to have all of my college transcripts?
Yes. All college transcripts (including dual credit) must be present in order to evaluate the cumulative GPA. A transcript is required for each individual school you have attended. Submit all official transcripts to MACC’s Registrar to include your High School/GED/HiSET and any other colleges attended (including as a Dual Credit Student)—it is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all transcripts are ordered and sent to MACC. Can I apply if I am a Graduate Practical Nurse?
Yes; however, admission is contingent on successfully completing the NCLEX-PN prior to beginning the Virtual Associate Degree in Nursing – Bridge program.

Can I apply if I currently do not have the required 23 hours of college credit?
Yes; however, admission into the program is contingent on successful completion (a “C” or better) of the required 23 credit hours by the beginning of the program.

When will I be notified of the admissions committee’s decision?
Letters of acceptance or regret will sent via the mail 60 days after the admissions deadline.

When does the program start?
Classes for the Virtual Associate Degree in Nursing – Bridge program will start in January of each year. Please refer to the Academic Map for recommended course sequence.

Will I be able to sit in the classroom during a class lecture?
Yes. Any MACC campus is open to students to utilize Wi-Fi and study space but keep in mind that program lectures are transmitted via the web.

How much does the program cost?

If I am accepted into the program, where should I expect to travel for clinical experiences?
