MACC Workforce Development Center is helping students start a new career on the open road through its Professional Truck Driving program. The program prepares students to earn their Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) through a combination of classroom instruction, driving simulation, and hands-on behind-the-wheel training.
Designed for individuals seeking careers in the trucking industry, the six-week program provides training in vehicle inspections, backing maneuvers, safety regulations, and real-world driving experience. Students train with experienced instructors in a small class setting to build the skills needed for entry-level driving positions.
Classes are offered at the Moberly and Columbia locations. Financial assistance may be available for qualifying students through workforce development programs.
