The Moberly Area Community College LOGOS Committee is inviting students to explore one of today’s most debated topics—Artificial Intelligence—through creativity and critical thinking in its Spring 2026 contest.
For this year’s theme, students are encouraged to examine the potential benefits and risks of further developing and using AI. Participants may respond through literary or visual arts projects, including short stories, paintings, collages, or other original formats that reflect thoughtful engagement with the subject.
All submissions are due by April 13, and student projects will be showcased in a virtual gallery on the MACC website. Winners will be announced the week of April 20, with three grand prize recipients receiving awesome MACC swag and additional prizes awarded to runners-up. All participants must be current MACC students, and prizes will be available for pickup at your MACC campus.
Details about contest guidelines and submission requirements are available at: https://www.macc.edu/logos_contest/
The LOGOS Project at MACC is dedicated to ensuring that graduates are proficient in college-level communication, including critical thinking, reading and writing. The committee—made up of faculty and administrators from a wide range of disciplines—provides education, resources and support to help students develop these essential skills across all courses.
In addition, LOGOS is currently leading the 2025–2026 One Read selection, the Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. Learn more about the LOGOS Project and the One Read initiative at: https://www.macc.edu/programs/logos/
Students are encouraged to take part in this exciting opportunity to think critically, create boldly and join the campus-wide conversation about the future of AI.
