In honor of Women’s History Month, Moberly Area Community College (MACC) is hosting two engaging events designed to celebrate the achievements and lasting impact of women throughout history.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in MACC’s Online Film Fest, sponsored by the Committee for Belonging and Opportunity. Participants are encouraged to watch at least two featured films and complete a short survey reflecting on what they learned. Those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing to win a book by a prominent woman author. More information and viewing details are available at: https://www.macc.edu/film-festival/
In addition, MACC will host a Lunch N Learn on March 18 at 12 p.m. in Room 246 of the Main Building on the Moberly campus. Students and members of the public are welcome to attend. The program will feature a screening of Triangle Fire, a powerful documentary about a tragic workplace disaster that led to critical safety reforms and highlighted the courage and advocacy of women workers.

Through these events, MACC invites the campus and community to reflect on the resilience, leadership and contributions of women who have shaped history—and continue to shape our world today.
