Excellence in Teaching Award

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be currently teaching or have taught for MACC the previous academic year
  • Have taught at least 9 college hours including the current semester in the last three years at any MACC site
  • Not have received this award the previous two years

Faculty Teaching Award
This online submission form allows all MACC students to nominate outstanding full-time faculty for the Parrish Award and outstanding adjuncts for the Outstanding Adjunct Award. According to the guidelines the Alfred and Hazel Parrish Award shall be presented to a faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching, support of his/her students, and a commitment to community services. The Outstanding Adjunct Award is awarded to adjunct faculty members that exemplify outstanding teaching ability. Please list your MACC faculty nominee below and include a short statement supporting your choice.
