What is the NFJP?
It is a WIOA program where eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families get education and training, improve job skills, and obtain good-paying jobs with benefits, and/or advance in agricultural careers. Veterans receive priority services.
What kinds of job training can I get?
You can get short-term training in many different career fields, including:
• Agriculture
• Health Care
• Heavy Equipment Operation
• Commercial Truck Driving
• Welding
Each of these occupations pay good wages with benefits and have lots of available job openings!
