The Virtual Associate Degree in Nursing – Bridge (VADN) program provides licensed practical nurses the opportunity to obtain their ADN in 12 months. This virtual/hybrid program combines the benefits of web-based and traditional face-to-face instruction. The web-based classes bring the education to the comfort of the student’s own home. And the hands-on classroom, lab, and clinical experiences offer face-to-face faculty engagement, experience with state-of-the-art simulation equipment and real-life clinical experiences, on one of four campuses: MACC-Moberly, MACC-Mexico, MACC-Columbia, and MACC-Hannibal.
After successfully completing the program, the VADN graduate is eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Sec. 335.066, provides additional criteria for eligibility to apply for licensure to practice nursing. Successful completion of the program does not guarantee eligibility to take the licensing exam. Satisfactory performance on this examination will qualify the student for licensure as a registered nurse.
When students complete the Virtual Associate Degree in Nursing – Bridge (VADN) program at MACC they will be able to: VADN program outcomes. This is our program promise.
