Updated MACC COVID-19 Practices

If you test positive for COVID-19 | |
Everyone, regardless of vaccination status | Isolate Stay home for 5 days if you have no symptoms or you cease to have symptoms after 5 days, you can return to school or work Wear a mask around others for 5 additional days |
If you are exposed to someone with COVID-19 | |
If you have been boosted, or Completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months, or Completed the primary series of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine within the last 2 months | No Quarantine required, but you should: Wear a mask around others for 10 days Test on day 5 If you develop symptoms stay home and get tested |
If you completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted, or Completed the primary series of J&J vaccine over 2 months ago and are not boosted, or You are unvaccinated | Quarantine Stay home for 5 days Wear a mask around others for an additional 5 days Test on day 5If you develop symptoms stay home and get tested |
The following practices remain unchanged as we begin the Spring 2022 semester:
- Masks are required to be worn by everyone in:
- Classrooms (speakers are allowed to remove masks while speaking/teaching if social distanced by 6 ft)
- In any office or indoor space where employees are meeting with students or the public
- Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear masks when indoors at any MACC building (masks may be removed if alone in an office)
- Masks are optional for vaccinated individuals in hallways or meetings with other MACC employees
MACC recommends that everyone get vaccinated and to receive a vaccine booster when eligible.
