Hope you are having a great semester! As you know, it is already midterm. Here are a few important deadlines and upcoming events that you should review.
2nd 8-week Classes Start October 17!
If you are enrolled in a 2nd 8-week course, make sure to log in and get started on the morning of October 17. If you need to add a 2nd 8-week class, you can do so until October 19. The last day to drop a 2nd 8-week class for a refund is October 21. Also, check out the Wintermester schedule and consider taking a four-week class before the spring semester starts. https://www.macc.edu/event/enroll-now-for-wintermester-2022-23/
Spring Enrollment
The spring course schedule will be published online on October 17, and enrollment starts on November 14. As a currently enrolled student, you will be able to enroll for spring on your own through myMACC. If you want to meet with an advisor to discuss your degree plan, your career plans, or for general college advising, you can sign up for an advising appointment at this link: https://booknow.appointment-plus.com/9rzse02x/
October Events
Check out the hallway posters and MACC Stall Street Journal at your campus for fun student activities and information regarding college transfer visits. Most locations are having a costume contest on Halloween. Bring out your creative side and show us your talents. There will be fun prizes!
REMEMBER, our student information system will Go Dark on October 20. We will not be able to send transcripts for about two weeks. If you need a transcript sent, please go to this link to request a transcript to be sent: https://tsorder.studentclearinghouse.org/school/welcome
PLANNING on Graduating this December?
If you are planning to graduate in December, PLEASE fill out your graduation application today! Go to mymacc.edu, select “Student” and then select “Graduation” on the left menu. Also, make sure to complete the required Civics exam that is located in the Student Resources course on your Canvas menu. Look for the module called Missouri Civics Achievement Exam.
