Marketing Wins National Award
Moberly Area Community College recently received the coveted Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR). The Paragon Awards are given annually to recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges across the United States. Categories include such things as novelty advertising, newsletter, poster, print advertisement, and brochures.
Over the past year, MACC has undergone a rebranding process, which included a redesign of many printed materials distributed by the College as well as a new tagline, “Real Life. Real Knowledge. Real People.” The process is continuing with the upcoming launch of a website redesign.
MACC Marketing Director Jaime Morgans and Assistant Marketing Director Chase Stamp are the creative force behind this shift. The two recently attended the NCMPR National Conference in Kansas City where MACC was awarded the GOLD Paragon for the “Poster” category. MACC was the only Missouri community college to receive an award in any category. Other winners included such noted colleges as Miami Dade College, Houston Community College, Maricopa County Community College, and others.
This honor represents a body of work that MACC is proud to acknowledge and congratulates Morgans and Stamp on their creativity and vision for MACC.
