Spring 2020 Health Sciences Showcase

You’re invited to attend the MACC Health Sciences Showcase on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Moberly Area Community College in Columbia located at 601 Business Loop 70 West Ste. 216 from 10 am to Noon. This event provides professional networking opportunities for college students, a select group of nearby high school students as well as community members! All are welcome to attend.

This showcase will host area health providers that will provide information on basic preventive medicine and medical screenings. MACC’s Practical Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technician Students will also be present to share educational topics of interest including interpreting laboratory values, medication administration and pediatric developmental stages.

Explore how your skills, interests and values relate to career options in the health industry. Prepare for a targeted internship/job search or learn how to expand your health related education through one of our Certificate Programs or an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Come check out our new health sciences programs. There will also be transfer advisors present from many colleges/universities in order to help you prepare for the transition on how to successfully bridge over for a for a Bachelor’s Degree in the health sciences programs—application forms, deadlines to apply, fees for applying, etc.
