Certified Medication Technician Graduates
Moberly Area Community College recently provided Certified Medication Technician (CMT) training a group of local employees. The class met at the Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center (EBDC) on the Moberly campus.

The CMT training prepares individuals for employment in an intermediate care or skilled care nursing facility. CMTs administer non-parenteral medications and assist an LPN or RN in patient medication therapy. The training consists of at least 60 hours of class time and a minimum of 8 hours of clinical practice. To complete certification, the student must pass a final written examination and a minimum two-hour final practicum exam. CMTs are registered with the state of Missouri.
