MACC Celebrates US Constitution Day
The United States Constitution was created and signed by the Continental Congress in 1787. This document initially created America's governmental framework.
Created as part of a legislative measure in 2004, Constitution Day celebrates that document and those who have become US citizens. The town of Louisville, Ohio claims to be the birthplace of Constitution Day when a local homemaker initiated a city-wide celebration in 1952. Today, schools and universities across the country commemorate this historic achievement.
