AEL Department Receives Donation

The Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) department at Moberly Area Community College recently received a $300 donation from Cater Funeral Home. The funds will be used as scholarships to help defray the cost for individuals taking the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET). The HiSET costs $95 per exam and passing students receive a Certificate of High School Equivalency. The certificate opens the opportunity to better paying jobs, training or college education.

MACC is grateful for the support of local businesses and individuals that invest in the future of our communities. To learn more about the AEL program, call AEL Director Ann McCauley at 660.263.4100 (ext 11307). To donate to the Scholarship Fund at MACC, contact Development Director Chad Jaecques (ext 11550).
