MACC Alumni & Friends Banquet

Come join friends and share memories at the Annual MACC Alumni Association Banquet on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Heartland Banquet Center.  The social hour begins at 5:30PM with a dinner buffet served at 6.30PM.

The annual banquet joins MACC alumni who have graduated from the High School (or “Lower Division”) and the College, as well as friends who have supported the institution throughout the years.

Following dinner there will be a short business meeting with election of officers, recognition of special guests, Anniversary Classes and the traditional Roll Call of classes by decades.

This year’s Anniversary classes are:

  • 1952 (60 years)
  • 1962 (50 years)
  • 1987 (25 years)
  • 2002 (10 years)

Awards for Distinguished Service will be presented to Joan Casleton and Dennis Cupp (posthumously) as well as to Outstanding Alumni and Faculty.  This year’s program will include displays about the history of the College and Moberly.  Trivia questions presented throughout the evening will be sure to stir up memories and conversation.

The current Alumni Association officers are:

  • President: Linda Ballinger (’69)
  • First vice president: Molly Nuhn (’94)
  • Second vice president: Melanie Brownfield (’94)
  • Secretary/treasurer: Regina Summers (’75)
  • Immediate past president: Jeff Lawrence (’91)
  • Phi Theta Kappa representative: Marla Butts (’77)

Other College events will be held throughout the weekend.  The College and the Alumni Museum will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for visitors, and tours are available on request.

The annual NGN /Brothers Ox breakfast will be at 8:30 a.m. in the Ambassador Room on the MACC campus.  All former and present members are encouraged to attend. Former members will induct new members into the organizations during the meeting.
