Moberly Area Community College – Mexico’s Veterinary Technology Program Ribbon Cutting
MEXICO, MO – Moberly Area Community College invites you to our ribbon cutting for the Veterinary Technology Program which is housed on our MACC – Mexico campus.
The ribbon-cutting for the Veterinary Technology Program will take place on Wednesday, April 27th at 4:00 p.m.
Our community members and supporters are invited to attend the ribbon cutting of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology on the MACC – Mexico campus. Through the Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology program, students will be prepared to provide health care of the highest quality to a variety of animals.
To offer this unique educational opportunity, MACC has partnered with the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. The last two semesters of the MACC Veterinary Technology program will allow students to gain hands-on experience at the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center. This will enable students to work with specialists, veterinary students, and registered veterinary technicians. In addition to many other opportunities for hands-on learning, our graduates will be well prepared to enter the field of veterinary technology.
A major contributor to the success of this program is the MoExcels Workforce Initiative, which facilitates the development and expansion of training and education initiatives driven by employers, as well as community support from the Green Foundation, FCS Financial, and others.
