Missouri Manufacturing Technician Program

This program will prepare you or your employees to be successful in a manufacturing environment— even with no previous production experience!

This statewide initiative is designed to help individuals begin a solid career with good pay, while increasing the quality and competitiveness of Missouri manufacturers. You or your employees will gain the skills and abilities for entry-level positions such as as: materials handler, team assembler, or basic machine operator.

This course follows curriculum guidelines developed by the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC).

Completers will earn an OSHA 10-hour credential. You may also test to earn the MSSC Certified Production Technician: Safety and the Certified Production Technician: Quality Practices and Measurement. Individuals passing both exams will also be recognized with a certificate from the state of Missouri.
