Important: Summer Financial Aid Deadline Announcement

Hi! I hope your summer semester is off to a great start! 

Students who are expecting to use financial aid* to pay for their educational expenses for the SUMMER 2022 semester MUST complete the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.GOV NO LATER THAN JUNE 30, 2022 AT 11:59 PM. (Current OTA, PN, and AADN degree-students must complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA for summer 2022)

* FINANCIAL AID INCLUDES STUDENT LOANS, FEDERAL PELL GRANT AND THE MISSOURI A+ SCHOLARSHIP. 

THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY THIS FORM WILL BE AVAILABLE IS JUNE 30. This is a federal form, and there are NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not procrastinate, the 2021-2022 FASFA must be completed by this date if you are expecting financial aid for the summer semester. 

There are additional eligibility requirements which must be completed in order to receive financial aid. Please check out the requirements and other information in our Summer Financial Aid Guide https://www.macc.edu/summer-financial-aid-guide/

All documents and additional requirements must be submitted no later than July 18 in order to allow sufficient time for processing applications. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to take care of these things asap to avoid a late payment charge and avoid the risk of not receiving financial aid.
