The Practical Nursing Program is offered at three locations: the Moberly campus; the Mexico campus; and the Columbia Area Career Center in Columbia, MO.
This 12-month/1 year certificate program in Practical Nursing (PN) provides a combination of subject matter and clinical experiences to prepare the student to work in a variety of structured health care environments. A graduate from the MACC PN program will function as a client caregiver under the direction of the Professional Registered Nurse and/or a Licensed Physician.
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
The Missouri Health Professions Consortium (MHPC) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program offered through MACC prepares students to work under the supervision of Registered Occupational Therapists. Assistants work with people of all ages who, because of physical, developmental, social or emotional deficits need specialized assistance to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives.
MACC’s Program of Surgical Technology prepares the graduate Surgical Technologist with the educational foundation to deliver quality patient care during the perioperative experience. The program strives to provide the surgical practice community with skilled, professional practitioners. The program offers the framework for the lifelong learning of the practitioner.
