ECONOMICS INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree in economics or related field is required; teaching experience preferred. Courses taught will include Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position with excellent benefits. Position will be assigned primary instructional duties at MACC’s Moberly campus. Online and virtual instruction as well as travel to other MACC sites may be required. Position begins August, 2018. SECRETARY– shared between the Early Childhood Education and the Adult Education and Literacy offices. Position requires exceptional computer and clerical skills for data entry, reporting and office management, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point (knowledge of Publisher helpful). Organization, problem solving, interpersonal/communication skills, and ability to interact with diverse people required. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SCIENCES - Position provides oversight for all Allied Health and Nursing programs and reports to the Dean of Health Sciences. Bachelors of Nursing required, Masters of Nursing preferred. Must have a minimum of three (3) of the last five (5) years of experience in clinical practice, nursing administration, or nursing education. Must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse, with an undisciplined license in the State of Missouri. Previous administrative experience required. This is a full-time, 12-month position with excellent benefits.

MATH INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree in Math required; teaching experience preferred. Courses taught may include Intermediate Algebra, Precalculus Algebra, Statistics, Quantitative Reasoning, Trigonometry, and Precalculus, as well as developmental math courses. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position with excellent benefits. Position will be assigned primary instructional duties at MACC’s Moberly campus. Online and virtual instruction as well as travel to other MACC sites may be required. Position begins August, 2018. FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST – at the Moberly campus. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized and have ability to manage multiple tasks. Must have good problem-solving skills and the ability to implement critical thinking skills, and work under pressure, and must be detailed oriented and produce accurate records. Must have computer skills. Primary duties include assisting students and families with student financial aid options and processing federal and state financial aid applications. Knowledge of federal and state student financial aid programs would be helpful, but will train. Hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

PAYROLL SPECIALIST – Primary duties include payroll processing and account analysis. Payroll and/or accounting experience is preferred. Computer skills are essential. An Associate’s degree is preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

Vice President for Instruction.

Requirements:  Doctorate degree required; a master’s degree with commitment to terminal degree may be considered.  A proven background in successful higher education leadership or related field with at least five years of experience required.  Candidates should have strong written and oral communication as well as interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, an understanding of shared governance, a commitment to student success, the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, experience working with federal and state compliance issues, and a desire to commit to the community college mission.

Responsibilities:  The Vice President for Instruction works closely with College President and leadership team in developing, expanding, and evaluating instructional programs and services throughout the College’s service region; supervises the operations of four substantial off-campus sites, Instructional Technology, Library and Academic Resource Center, as well as Academic Affairs, Career and Technical Education, Allied Health, and Student Affairs; assists with strategic planning; ensures that the instructional, student, and/or support services programs reflect the educational philosophy and institutional goals of the College; supports college retention and completion initiatives; develops collaborative initiatives with four-year institutions as well as other agencies; serves as Accreditation Liaison Officer; provides guidance for the College’s Quality Initiative project and other accreditation activities; ensures compliance with mandates of regulatory agencies; and serves as a College representative for community, state, and national events and organizations. This position reports to the College President.

DIRECTOR OF ACCESS AND ADA SERVICES - Master’s degree in education, counseling, or related field strongly preferred; bachelor’s degree required. Based at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center with travel to other MACC sites required. Duties include providing services and assistance for students with disabilities; monitoring relevant legislation and ensuring compliance; supervising department staff members; and providing consultation for college personnel, external agencies, and prospective students. Requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as strong computer skills. Full-time, 12-month, salaried position with benefits.

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR - clinical instructor position available for Mental Health in the Associate Degree Nursing Program in the Columbia, Missouri area for Fall 2018. B.S.N. and 3 years of recent clinical experience and teaching experience preferred. Current undisciplined Missouri RN license required.

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR - clinical instructor position available for Maternal/Child rotations in the Associate Degree Nursing Program in the Columbia, Missouri area for Fall 2018. This is a full-time, 10-month position with excellent benefits with extended contract to begin this summer. This position will be assigned instructional duties at the MACC - Mexico Higher Education Center. Online instruction as well as travel to other MACC campuses may be required.
