BOOKKEEPER - This position is responsible for the processing of general ledger transactions, account reconciliations, and other office functions, in cooperation with other Finance and Business Office personnel. It requires bookkeeping, organization, communication, and computer skills as well as attention to detail. Prior bookkeeping experience and an Associate’s degree are preferred. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING INSTRUCTOR– Faculty position focused on teaching fundamentals of nursing and medication administration to first year associate degree nursing students on the Moberly campus. BSN required, MSN preferred. Three years full-time clinical experience within the last five years and current unencumbered Missouri RN license required. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position with excellent benefits. Applications accepted until position is filled.

GALLERY DIRECTOR, Evelyn E. Jorgenson Fine Arts Center - The Evelyn E. Jorgenson Fine Arts Center is an art gallery located in the Main Building on MACC’s Moberly campus. It houses rotating exhibits throughout the year featuring the work of artists from around the nation, as well as local high school and MACC student work. The Gallery Director provides general oversight of the Gallery and schedules exhibitions that promote cultural enrichment opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and community members. The schedule generally includes 5-6 exhibitions throughout the year. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in art, art history, museum studies or a related field; previous gallery/museum experience is preferred. Good communication and organizational skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates who are practicing artists with exhibition experience. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

ASSISTANT MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH/DORM SUPERVISOR - Duties include coaching, recruiting, academic monitoring/advising, and supervision of men's dorm (must reside in the dorm). A Bachelor's degree is required, playing and coaching experience is preferred. This is a full-time position (10-month contract) beginning August 1.

LIBRARY SERVICES SPECIALIST – Must be a responsible individual, able to assist students with electronic database services. Bachelor’s Degree required. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

TRANSPORT TRAINING ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR – part-time positon approximately 20 hours per week (negotiable) requiring a minimum of five year’s occupational experience directly related to truck driving and hold a current Class “A” CDL and safe driving record (no moving violations in the last 3 years, no chargeable accidents in last 2 years). Instructor must also complete and pass D.O.T. physical and drug test. The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, other professionals, staff and the public is required. Must possess ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with a variety of people, including students, staff and general public.

VETERINARY TECHNOLOGY (Vet Tech) PROGRAM DIRECTOR - is responsible for the overall development, leadership, management, and administration of the Vet Tech Program. Responsibilities include: program and curriculum development, budget oversight, program outcome evaluation, Program instructor supervision, teaching, and advising students. Qualifications include Associate degree from an AVMA accredited program with current credentialing or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DMV), 3 years of field experience, and teaching experience is preferred. The positon is based in Columbia, MO; some travel may be required. This is a full-time, 12-month position with excellent benefits.

PART-TIME SECRETARY FOR PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM - provides assistance to the Coordinator of the Columbia Practical Nursing program. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree is preferred. Must be personable, detail oriented, organized, possess excellent English verbal and written communication skills, able to meet deadlines and complete projects on a timely basis, maintain confidentiality, and have good typing and computer skills with all required software. This is a part-time, 19 hours per week position.

SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST - Full-time position with excellent benefits (hours are 12:00pm to 9:00pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00am to 5:00pm Friday) at the MACC - Columbia Higher Education Center. Requires excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

ACADEMIC ADVISOR – at the MACC – Columbia Higher Education Center requiring excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Bachelors' degree required. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Full-time position, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Some weekend work and additional hours will be required during the start of each semester. Excellent benefits.

FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST – at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Duties include advising students and reviewing applications for federal and state financial aid, including Veterans benefits. Must work well with the public, have organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent computer skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and good problem-solving skills. Student financial aid experience preferred, but will train. Hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time with excellent benefits.

SECURITY OFFICER - Part-time position, approximately 24 hours per week (7:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Thursday) at MACC-Mexico. Experience preferred. Applicant must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), must pass a background check, and be willing to take first-aid, CPR/AED, and additional training as needed.

PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR needed for EET101 Industrial Electricity (Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.) and IND105 Fluid Power Principles (Thursdays from 8-10 a.m.) in Mexico, MO, for the spring semester. Qualifications can include a combination of education and experience in the field.

ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY INSTRUCTOR – needed for MACC at the Vandalia prison. Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with ability to obtain adult education teaching certificate. Prior teaching experience a plus. Will conduct program activities including teaching students who are studying for the on-line high school equivalency exam. Must be proficient with the use of computers.

This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., with excellent benefits.
