Startup Weekend is an intense entrepreneur weekend at EquipmentShare in Columbia. Entrepreneurs from all over the Midwest show up and spend the entire weekend turning an idea into a reality.
Several MACC business/marketing students attended this year. They stated the experience was amazing and learned much from the event. A special thank you to EquipmentShare for hosting the event!
Columbia College business professor, Bryan Sappington, and recruiter, Lisa Hussey, recently visited the Business Management class at MACC. They spoke about CC-MACC, the ease of transfer, degree, and occupation possibilities.
The class asked several good questions. They learned of certificates they could receive beyond the associate’s or bachelor’s requirements. Students were reminded that if they like the small classroom environment where the instructors know your name and build relationships, Columbia College should be one of the options considered. We thank Bryan and Lisa for spending the class period with the students.
