Enrollment for SU22 and FA22 is open now.
The enrollment process for all Associate of Science students is a two-step process where you first meet with a faculty advisor to create your academic plan and then meet with an academic advisor to enroll in classes. See details on the SU22 and FA22 Advising and Enrollment Page. It is important that you meet with a faculty advisor to ensure that you are selecting the elective course options that will best meet your needs when you transfer to a four-year biology or biology-related program (see note below).
To sign-up to meet with me, please send me an email with available days/times to hold a virtual appointment (lindsayr@macc.edu). Then, check your email for a meeting invitation from me with a Zoom link. Dr. Paul Botch is also available for faculty advising in Kirksville (paulb@macc.edu).
Please continue to check this Associate of Science- Biology Canvas course regularly as we continue to add new information and resources.

**WHY SHOULD YOU MEET WITH A FACULTY ADVISOR? My goal when I meet with students is to make sure you understand the degree requirements for the Associate of Science- Biology program and how the courses you take here will transfer when you leave MACC to continue working toward a biology-related degree at another school. I want to make sure you are picking the elective courses that don’t just count toward our AS degree, but also count toward the biology degree when you transfer. The elective courses you select should be based on (1) the school you want to transfer to after MACC and (2) which biology-related program you plan to pursue. I can help you select those electives, show you how to monitor this yourself and/or provide you with contacts at your transfer school.
