Moberly Area Community College recently hosted the first in a series of luncheons celebrating the 80th anniversary of the College. The gatherings are intended to show appreciation to local business and organization members for their support of the College. The first luncheon group to meet in the Blue Room of the Main Building included local civic organization members and city and county officials. Attendees were treated to a buffet lunch, followed by a short commemorative movie created for the 80th anniversary. Dr. Evelyn E. Jorgenson, president of MACC, addressed the guests and held a question and answer period following the movie.
