The annual Employee Appreciation Banquet was held at Moberly Area Community College on May 10, 2007. Dr. Evelyn E. Jorgenson, president of MACC, welcomed employees and their guests to the event. Following a buffet dinner, Service Awards were presented by Joan E. Casleton, MACC Board of Trustees President, and the Innovation Award, which recognizes a person or department for showing exceptional creativity or innovation, was presented by Dr. Jorgenson.

Five-year service honorees included Willa Jean Richards, Deb Jermyn, Diane Tigner, Steven Voss, Jan Palliser, Les Dawdy, Celina Taylor, Semi Necibi, Eric Ross, and Sue Snyder. Ten-year service honorees included Beth Daly, Sandy Marek, Judy Gibbs, Mark Chambers, and Terry Nelson. Fifteen-year service honorees were Joyce Pauley, Joan E. Casleton, Ruth Jones, and Lynn VanDolah. Twenty-year service honorees were Gopal Krishna, Joyce Riley, Dr. Evelyn E. Jorgenson, and Berna Burton. The twenty-five year service honoree was Charlene Schillie. The Innovation Award winner was Valerie Darst, MACC Library Director.
