Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Scholarship Program Guidelines

Qualifications

Applicant must

•  be an active member of Phi Theta Kappa
•  demonstrate leadership qualities in school, community and PTK
• be either a full-time or part-time student at MACC
  (Full-time student is defined as enrolled in at least 12 hours and part-time student is defined as 6-11 hours)
•  be planning to attend MACC for the following semester

Payment Procedures

· One full-time and one part-time scholarship will be presented.

• Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $200 for full-time student and $100 for part-time student.
• Scholarship is renewable for one consecutive semester contingent upon scholarship fund availability. Recipient may reapply for the next year.
•  Proof of enrollment is necessary prior to payment.
• Payment will be made to the student after the two-week drop period.

Selection Process

· Applications will be distributed at Spring Induction Ceremony and must be returned before April 1.

• Selection will be made by Iota Chapter Officers, Executive Board and PTK Sponsor.
•  Scholarship presentation will be made at the Annual PTK Alumni Reception.
