Positions available in Moberly, MO:

COOK - Full time position with excellent benefits. Cooking duties for 9 months, hours are 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Housekeeping duties during summer months.

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR - A Master's degree is required. Courses to be taught may include Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and Zoology. Additional graduate hours in physical science a plus. Full-time, 9 ¼ month position at MACC beginning Jan. 2009 in Moberly, MO. Excellent benefits.

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR – Maternal Child clinical instructor position available in ADN Program. B.S.N. and 3 years clinical experience required, teaching experience preferred.  Missouri RN license required.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH – Full-time, 12 month position on the Moberly campus with excellent benefits. Requirements include Master’s degree in Nursing; minimum of 3 of the last 5 years experience in acute care nursing, nursing administration, or education; current Missouri RN license, administrative and teaching experience.

CNA INSTRUCTORS AND CNA EXAMINERS are needed to instruct and/or examine on a part time, as needed basis for the Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Applicants must be listed on the Department of Health and Senior Services Registry.

 

Positions available in Columbia, MO:

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MACC-COLUMBIA HIGHER EDUCATION CENTER - Will work closely with the Director to manage day-to-day operation of the Columbia campus. Must be detail-oriented, flexible, have the ability to problem solve, multi-task, meet deadlines and work with all types of people. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Full-time position, excellent benefits.

SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST - Part-time evening position, Monday through Thursday, at the MACC - Columbia Higher Education Center. Excellent clerical, organization, communication, and telephone skills required.

 

Positions available in Hannibal, MO:

ADVISOR/RESOURCE COORDINATOR- for programs offered by Moberly Area Community College at the MACC – Hannibal Area Higher Education Center. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized, have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. This position will assist students, faculty, and staff with resources, research and other educational projects. Work with instructional technology set-ups and train students and faculty in the use of technology. Provide academic advising and enrollment for students. Bachelors' degree required. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

 

Positions available in Mexico, MO:

SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree required. Must be versatile. Courses to be taught include physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy and atmospheric science. Additional graduate hours in biological science a plus. Full-time, 9 ¼ month position at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO beginning Jan. 2009. Excellent benefits.

PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS - The MACC Office of Workforce and Technical Education (WTE) is looking for individuals interested in teaching customized training workshops for business and industry in our service area. Training sessions may be offered at a MACC campus or on the site of the company requesting the training. These training sessions are typically offered in workshop formats and short sessions. PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS - are needed at WERDCC (Women's Prison) in Vandalia. A Masters degree is required, teaching experience is preferred. Subjects include English, Public Speaking, History, Humanities, and Business during the evenings, Monday through Thursday.

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.
