Positions available in Moberly, MO:

MAINTENANCE - Experience preferred. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

PART-TIME LIBRARY ASSISTANT - Evenings, 19 hours per week, Monday-Thursday. Must be a responsible individual, able to assist students with electronic reference services. A.A. Degree preferred.

PSYCHOLOGY INSTRUCTOR - Masters degree required, teaching experience preferred. Full-time, 9 1/4 month position on the Moberly campus with excellent benefits.

BUS DRIVER - on a part-time, as needed basis for out-of-town trips including late evening travel. CDL required.

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR – Maternal Child clinical instructor position available in ADN Program. B.S.N. and 3 years clinical experience required, teaching experience preferred.  Missouri RN license required.

 

Positions available in Columbia, MO:

SECURITY OFFICER - needed at the MACC—Columbia Higher Education Center. High school diploma necessary; must be able to pass a background check. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST - at MACC’s Columbia Higher Education Center. Excellent computer, organization, clerical, communication, customer service, and telephone skills required. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

 

Positions available in Mexico, MO:

COORDINATOR OF PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM - Full-time position at MACC campus in Mexico, Missouri, with excellent benefits. Qualifications: BSN, 3 years current clinical experience in pediatrics or obstetrics, current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse, and teaching experience. Responsible for program supervision, instruction, and clinical rotations in a one-year PN Program.

SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree required. Must be versatile. Courses to be taught include physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy and atmospheric science. Additional graduate hours in biological science a plus. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO, with excellent benefits.

 

Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

PART-TIME EARLY CHILDHOOD INSTRUCTORS—Masters degree required in Child Development, Early Care and Education or closely related field. Experience working with children under five in group settings required. Teach one or two online or evening classes starting in the Fall.

ADJUNCT WELDING INSTRUCTOR: Part-time instructor for evening welding courses beginning Fall 2009 on the Moberly campus. Experienced welder needed to instruct students from introductory to advanced level in the following areas: ARC, OXY, MIG, and TIG welding. AWS welding certification preferred. 

ADJUNCT ELECTRONICS/ELECTRICITY INSTRUCTOR: Part-time evening instructor needed beginning Fall 2009 on the Moberly campus to teach Industrial Electricity. Course covers power circuitry, terminology, electrical symbols and construction techniques. National Electric Code, control and maintenance of AC and DC motors, generators, and transformers also included in this course.

PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS - The MACC Office of Workforce and Technical Education (WTE) is looking for individuals interested in teaching customized training workshops for business and industry in our service area. Training sessions may be offered at a MACC campus or on the site of the company requesting the training. These training sessions are typically offered in workshop formats and short sessions. CNA INSTRUCTORS AND CNA EXAMINERS are needed to instruct and/or examine on a part time, as needed basis for the Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Applicants must be listed on the Department of Health and Senior Services Registry.

PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS - are needed at WERDCC (Women's Prison) in Vandalia. A Masters degree is required, teaching experience is preferred. Subjects include English, Public Speaking, History, Humanities, and Business during the evenings, Monday through Thursday.

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.
