The Rental Application Process -- Landlords use a variety of methods in screening potential tenants. Understanding this process can help tenants address doubts landlords might have. Learn about credit reports and their use in the rental application process. Fair housing regulations will also be discussed.
Legal Aspects of Renting -- Understand legal rights and responsibilities with a written lease or when renting month-to-month. Learn the importance of the check-in and check-out process, appropriate move-out notice, legal rights and responsibilities related to privacy and security deposits.
