College Receives Grant from Macon Health Center

The Allied Health department at Moberly Area Community College recently received a $1,680 donation from Macon Health Center. The grant was made available through the Foundation for Geriatric Education. The funds will be used to purchase clinical equipment for the Nursing skills lab on the Moberly campus.

Every year, MACC offers an intensive, 12-month program at its locations in Mexico and Moberly that prepares students to sit for the NCLEX-Practical Nursing (PN) licensure exam. Each week, students spend approximately 21 hours in class and two full days in clinics and hospital across the region, including at Macon Health Center.

MACC is grateful for the support of local businesses and individuals that invest in the future of our communities. To learn more about Allied Health programs at MACC, call 660.263.4100 (ext. 11250).
