MACC Congratulates CNA Class
Moberly Area Community College congratulates its latest class from the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. The CNA program prepares individuals for employment in a long-term care facility, as well as work in home health care agencies, hospitals, doctor’s offices, private pay services, and many other employers. The program is designed to teach skills in resident care which qualifies students to perform basic nursing procedures and to assist licensed practical nurses or registered nurses in direct resident care. The program consists of 80 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of supervised clinical practice in a long-term care facility. Classroom training can be completed in 16 sessions.
