MACC’s Sandra Marek is Elected President of CCBO
Moberly Area Community College’s Director of Business Services, Sandra Marek, was installed as the 2012 President of the Board of Directors of the Community College Business Officers’ (CCBO) organization at their 2011 Annual International Conference, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Marek serves as Director of Business Services at MACC where she is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the Business Office functions of the College. Marek earned her Masters of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.
Marek has served on the CCBO board since November 2001 and during that time has served as the Awards Committee Chair, AACC Liaison, Vice-President of Regional Services, and Conference Chair for the 2011 CCBO conference in Louisville, KY.
CCBO is committed to providing educational and professional support, networking opportunities, and timely trend and demographic information for business officers representing community colleges and community college system offices in the US and in Canada. The association works to help business officers better prepare for successful professional roles in the business and service enterprise of the community college. CCBO recognizes that excellence in the profession sets the standard for the future and strives to acknowledge those professionals who have excelled in the field.
