MACC Holds ADN Pinning Ceremony

The Moberly Area Community College Associate Degree Nursing Pinning Ceremony was held on May 19, 2011, at the MACC Auditorium. Twenty nursing graduates were presented with their nursing pins.

The graduates were: Nicole M. Almora (Columbia), Christopher Betts (Columbia), Brittney D. Bruner (Columbia), Stephanie A. Clemens (Moberly), Courtney E. Ellyson (Macon), Casey L. Galloway (Columbia), Lisa G. Guese (Armstrong), Corey M. Hardin (Columbia), Misty S. Harms (Huntsville), Schelly J. Hess (Excello), Emily T. Inzunza (Columbia), Amy C. Mahlin (Ashland), Jason M. Murphy (Madison), Julie A. Murphy (Macon), Ashley E. Page (Palmyra), Karson L. Preston (Centralia), Tina M. Walsh (Columbia), Cheyenne R. Ward (Memphis), Jennifer N. Watson (Macon), Kelsey M. Wood (Moberly).

Dr. Evelyn E. Jorgenson, MACC President, welcomed the graduates, their friends and family members to the ceremony. Cindy Carter, the Northeast Regional Medical Center Chief Nursing officer, gave a motivational address. Ruth Jones and MACC Dean of Career and Technical Education Dr. Greg Mosier presented awards.

Corey Hardin was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award and Lisa Guese was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award. Karson Preston received the Missouri League of Nursing Outstanding Student of the Year Award.

A reception for friends and family followed the ceremony.
