The Moberly Hospital Volunteers are made up of 40 individuals who give their time and talents every day to help patients and staff at MRMC. In 2010 the Volunteers contributed 11,154 hours of volunteer service to the hospital. Along with the time they donate, they also hold fundraisers every year in order to present a $1,000 scholarship to an MACC student pursuing a health related professions career. In 2010, 17 MACC students submitted volunteer scholarship applications and Nika Gordham was selected as the 2011 spring semester recipient. Nika is in her first year of the Associate Degree Nursing program at MACC. On behalf of all the volunteers at Moberly Regional Medical Center, congratuulations to Nika and the best of luck to all of the applicants pursing such a noble career.
