Proctored Exam Information
A proctored exam is one that is taken under supervision. According to MACC's policy, a proctored exam must be taken at one of our MACC locations or by a pre-approved professional.
Check your online course syllabus to see if your class requires proctored exams.
Is There a Fee for Proctoring Services to non-MACC Students?
MACC staff offers proctoring services to non-MACC students with a flat rate charge per exam. There is a $20.00 charge for exams up to 2 hours. There will be a charge of $10.00 for each additional hour. Two exams scheduled the same day will be charged separately.
MACC does not charge students attending another Missouri community college, MACC graduates, active duty military service personnel, or veterans.
Proctoring is arranged on an appointment basis only. At least one week is needed to confirm a test date. During MACC peak testing periods, there may be limited availability. Interested students should contact and enter “Proctoring” in the subject line.
The student shall pay the Business Office at their testing location prior to test time. A receipt will need to be presented to the proctor at test time.
