Professional Development Schedule

 

 

MACC intends to provide a quality, meaningful Professional Development program for all MACC employees. If you would like to see us offer any particular topic that would be relevant and valuable for you, please forward your suggestions to the Director of Human Resources. Professional development is very important for all employees to keep current in technology, legal issues, and other topics that help us do our jobs well and boost our morale. iPad for Office Use, presented by Carl Read, Instructional Technology Specialist

With the growing popularity of the iPad and the highly functional apps that are being developed for it, the iPad is becoming a more viable option for travel and to take to meetings. In this session we will discuss apps and hardware that are shaping the iPad into the new mobile computing device. We aren't quite ready to replace our home and office computers, but these tips will show that we are very close to being able to utilize the iPad in this capacity.
