GEO 101 World Geography I 3-0-3
A survey of conditions in Europe, Russia and the Near Abroad, the Middle East, South Asia, and Japan, emphasizing each region's importance to the world as a whole. The physical, cultural and economic characteristics of each region are included in each regional survey. (FA, SP)

GEO 102 World Geography II 3-0-3
GEO 102 is a continuation of regional studies of the world with emphasis on physical, cultural, and economic characteristics in the regions of East Asia, the Pacific Islands, Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa, the United States, and Canada. (SP)

GEO 299 Special Studies in Geography (1 to 6)-0-(1 to 6)
This course will consist of specialized study in areas of the department, which are not covered in-depth in courses already offered. Students may take no more than three Special Studies courses in any one discipline. (IN)
