ADA Services Specialist - Full-time position in the Office of Access and ADA Services. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work with a wide variety of student issues and maintain student confidentiality. Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications. Experience in higher education or human services field preferred. Position overview: Provide direct assistance and multiple services for students with physical, psychological, or learning disabilities. Provide consultation for prospective students and their families, college personnel, and external agencies.

 



SECRETARY
- part-time position in the Adult Education and Literacy office, 20 hours per week. Qualifications: Must have exceptional computer and clerical skills for data entry, reporting and office management. Organization, problem solving, interpersonal/communication skills, and ability to interact with diverse people required. Experience assisting adults in lifelong learning desired.

SECURITY OFFICER
- needed at the MACC—Columbia Higher Education Center. High school diploma necessary; must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.




Positions available in Mexico, MO:

 

Technology Resource Specialist/Security - Part-Time evening position at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO: Monday through Thursday, 5:00pm-10:00pm. Position includes answering phones, classroom technology support, student services and faculty support, and overall facility security. High school diploma or GED necessary; must be able to pass a background check.

PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS

The MACC Office of Workforce and Technical Education (WTE) is looking for individuals interested in teaching customized training workshops for business and industry in our service area. Training sessions may be offered at a MACC campus or on the site of the company requesting the training. These training sessions are typically offered in workshop formats and short sessions. CNA INSTRUCTORS AND CNA EXAMINERS
Are needed to instruct and/or examine on a part time, as needed basis for the Certified Nursing Assistant Program. Applicants must be listed on the Department of Health and Senior Services Registry.

 

PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS
Are needed at WERDCC (Women's Prison) in Vandalia. A Masters degree is required, teaching experience is preferred. Subjects include English, Public Speaking, History, Humanities, and Business during the evenings, Monday through Thursday.

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.
