Positions available in Moberly, MO:

SECRETARY in Early Childhood Education Programs -- Part-time position requiring excellent communication, organizational, clerical and computer skills. Associate degree preferred.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH PROGRAMS - Position provides oversight for all Allied Health programs and reports to the Director of Nursing and Allied Health. Related teaching or educational administrative experience required. BSN and Masters in Nursing required. Three years full-time acute care clinical experience within the last five years in adult nursing and current undisciplined Missouri RN license required. This is a full-time, 12-month position with excellent benefits.

BUSINESS OFFICE ADMINISTRATION INSTRUCTOR – Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required; Master's degree and teaching experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also desirable with certification preferred. Courses taught may include Business Communications, Business Math, and Business Terminology. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position with excellent benefits. Position will be assigned primary instructional duties at the Columbia campus. Online instruction as well as travel to other MACC sites may be required. Position begins August, 2015.

ASSISTANT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACH/DORM SUPERVISOR - Duties include coaching, recruiting, academic monitoring/advising, and supervision of women's dorm (must reside in the dorm). A Bachelor's degree is required, playing and coaching experience is preferred. This is a part-time position (10 month contract) beginning August 1.

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN – Must be dependable, punctual, a team player and have good communication skills. Must be skilled in PC troubleshooting & repair, Windows, MAC, Linux, network wiring, equipment installation. Minimum of Associate's degree preferred.

LIBRARY SERVICES SPECIALIST - Must be a responsible individual, able to assist students with electronic database services. A.A. Degree preferred. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

ENGLISH INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree in English or related field required; teaching experience preferred. Courses taught may include composition, literature, public speaking, and developmental English. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position with excellent benefits. Position will be assigned primary instructional duties at the Moberly campus. Online instruction as well as travel to other MACC sites may be required. Position begins August, 2015. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR – Master Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education and minimum 3 years of experience working with children under age five in group settings required. Teach at MACC Columbia and Moberly locations and online, with occasional travel to other sites. Evening classes and daytime lab supervisions. Fulltime, 10-month position with excellent benefits.

INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR - Full-time, 10 month position beginning August, 2015, with excellent benefits. Minimum bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years recent job experience in one or more of the following areas: industrial technologist/technician, high-end industrial maintenance, millwright. Skill and experience with machining, CNC, and/or welding, preferred. Review of applications will begin on April 15.

PAYROLL SPECIALIST - Primary duties include payroll processing and account analysis. Payroll and/or accounting experience preferred. Computer skills are essential. Associate's degree preferred. Full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST - Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized, have the ability to implement critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and produce accurate records. Must have computer skills. Primary duties include assisting students and families with student financial aid options and processing federal and state financial aid applications. Knowledge of federal and state student financial aid programs would be helpful, but will train. Bachelor's degree preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

 


 

Positions available in Mexico, MO:

PSYCHOLOGY INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree required, teaching experience preferred. Courses taught may include General Psychology, Human Lifespan Development, Abnormal Psychology, and Intro to Social Psychology. Full-time, 9 1/4 month position split between the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center and Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO; may also require online teaching or travel to other MACC sites. Position begins Aug. 2015. Excellent benefits. Review of applications begins April 29.

PART-TIME CLINICAL COORDINATOR for the MLT Program - responsible for coordinating applied education (clinical practicums) for students in the Medical Laboratory Technology associate degree program, some instruction of MLT students in campus laboratory. Certified MLS with minimum 3 years clinical experience preferred, teaching experience in clinical or classroom setting a plus. A qualified MLT may be considered if a medical lab scientist cannot be found. This position is part-time, flexible hours 20 per week.

 


 

Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred. It is the goal of the MACC Corporate College to offer area businesses specific training based on their company needs. Our training will take place on-site at various companies and on campus.
