Positions available in Moberly, MO:

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST - responsible for working with the Instructional Technology team to support the daily operations of online programs and instructional technology needs. The person in this position will also work closely with the Office of Access and ADA Services to provide assistance to faculty, students, and staff at various MACC locations. This position will be located in Moberly with hours of 10 am-7 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am-5 pm Fridays with the possibility of working from our Columbia location two days a week. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Familiarity with various technologies such as tablets, learning management systems, video/captioning software, and assistive technologies is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST - Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized, have the ability to implement critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and produce accurate records. Must have computer skills. Primary duties include assisting students and families with student financial aid options and processing federal and state financial aid applications. Knowledge of federal and state student financial aid programs would be helpful, but will train. Bachelor’s degree preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

RECORDS SPECIALIST - requires a minimum of an Associate's degree, ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in an integrated database system, knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities include providing assistance to the Registrar's Office to maintain and update academic records. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

Positions available in Columbia, MO:

FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST - at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Duties include processing applications, awarding financial aid and advising students. Must work well with the public, have organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent computer skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and good problem-solving skills. Student financial aid experience preferred, but will train. Hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time with excellent benefits.

Positions available in Mexico, MO:

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR - Maternal Child clinical instructor position available in the Accelerated Associate Degree Nursing Program in the Mexico, Missouri area. B.S.N. and 3 years of recent clinical experience and teaching experience preferred. Missouri RN license required.

 


Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred. Experience working with children under age five in group settings is required. Responsibilities include teaching one or two evening and/or virtual classes beginning Spring 2015.

Part-Time Corporate College Instructors - MACC has a new initiative as an extension to the college called Corporate College. It is the goal of the MACC Corporate College to offer area businesses specific training based on their company needs. Our training will take place on-site at various companies and on campus. We are looking for skilled instructors in the following areas:

Bloodborne/Airborne Pathogens
First Aid/CPR/AED
