Positions available in Moberly, MO:

REGISTRAR - This position is responsible for management of MACC’s academic records and requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. The ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in an integrated database system is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for this position. Experience in higher education administration or records management is preferred.

COORDINATOR OF NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH PROGRAMS - Position provides oversight for all Allied Health programs and reports to the Director of Nursing and Allied Health. Related teaching or educational administrative experience required. BSN required, Masters preferred. Three years full-time acute care clinical experience within the last five years in adult nursing and current Missouri RN license required. This is a full-time, 12-month position with excellent benefits.

INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR - Full-time, 10 month position beginning August, 2015, with excellent benefits. Minimum bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3 years recent job experience in one or more of the following areas: industrial technologist/technician, high-end industrial maintenance, millwright. Skill and experience with machining, CNC, and/or welding, preferred. Review of applications will begin on April 15.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR - Master Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education and minimum 3 years of experience working with children under age five in group settings required. Teach at MACC Columbia and Moberly locations and online, with occasional travel to other sites. Evening classes and daytime lab supervisions. Fulltime, 10-month position with excellent benefits.

PHILOSOPHY INSTRUCTOR - Master's degree required, teaching experience preferred. Courses taught may include Philosophy, Ethics, Religions of the World, and Logic. Full-time, 9 1/4 month position split between the Moberly campus and Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, MO; may also require online teaching or travel to other MACC sites. ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY INSTRUCTOR - This is a part-time position, approximately 10 hours per week requiring a Bachelor’s degree with the ability to obtain adult education teaching certificate. Prior teaching experience is a plus. Must be proficient with the use of computers. The instructor will conduct program activities including teaching students who are studying for the on-line high school equivalency exam.

PAYROLL SPECIALIST - Primary duties include payroll processing and account analysis. Payroll and/or accounting experience preferred. Computer skills are essential. Associate’s degree preferred. Full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST - responsible for working with the Instructional Technology team to support the daily operations of online programs and instructional technology needs. The person in this position will also work closely with the Office of Access and ADA Services to provide assistance to faculty, students, and staff at various MACC locations. This position will be located in Moberly with hours of 10 am-7 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am-5 pm Fridays with the possibility of working from our Columbia location two days a week. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Familiarity with various technologies such as tablets, learning management systems, video/captioning software, and assistive technologies is preferred but not required. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST - Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized, have the ability to implement critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and produce accurate records. Must have computer skills. Primary duties include assisting students and families with student financial aid options and processing federal and state financial aid applications. Knowledge of federal and state student financial aid programs would be helpful, but will train. Bachelor’s degree preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

Positions available in Columbia, MO:

INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC ADVISOR - at MACC’s Columbia Higher Education Center. Position requires excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST - at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Duties include processing applications, awarding financial aid and advising students. Must work well with the public, have organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent computer skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and good problem-solving skills. Student financial aid experience preferred, but will train. Hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time with excellent benefits.

PART-TIME CLINICAL COORDINATOR for the MLT Program - responsible for coordinating applied education (clinical practicums) for students in the Medical Laboratory Technology associate degree program, some instruction of MLT students in campus laboratory. Certified MLS with minimum 3 years clinical experience preferred, teaching experience in clinical or classroom setting a plus. A qualified MLT may be considered if a medical lab scientist cannot be found. This position is part-time, flexible hours 20 per week.

PART-TIME EVENING SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST - at the Advanced Technology Center requiring computer, communication, clerical, organization, telephone and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent required, associate’s degree is preferred. Preferred hours for this position are 3-9:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.

Positions available in Hannibal, MO:

CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR - needed for classroom instruction at MACC in Hannibal. This is a part-time position consisting of 8 – 10 hours per week based on the class schedule: http://www.macc.edu/cna-training. The instructor shall be a registered professional nurse currently licensed in Missouri, have at least 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of experience in the provision of LTC facility services in the last 5 years. They must also be certified by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for this function or be eligible using the above criteria to attend a seminar approved by the Division of Aging to be approved as a CNA Instructor.


Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred. Part-Time Corporate College Instructors - MACC has a new initiative as an extension to the college called Corporate College. It is the goal of the MACC Corporate College to offer area businesses specific training based on their company needs. Our training will take place on-site at various companies and on campus. We are looking for skilled instructors in the following areas:
