Moberly Area Community College invites nominations and applications for the position of VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or CPA certificate preferred with a strong background in accounting and/or business. Five years’ experience in business administration or finance required. Experience in higher education, not-for-profit, or governmental accounting preferred. Candidates should have strong written and oral communication as well as interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, experience working with federal and state compliance issues, and a desire to commit to the community college mission.
Responsibilities: Provides overall leadership and supervision of all financial analysis, accounting, insurance, and business services, including Bookstore and Cafeteria auxiliary services; recommends for hire, supervises, and evaluates staff; assists the President of the College in submitting and administering an annual budget; serves on the President's Administrative Council; supervises the preparation and submission of state and federal financial reports, grant reports, and financial audits. This position reports to the College President.

DIRECTOR OF WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT at MACC – Moberly Campus. This position will direct the overall effort to determine training/educational needs of regional employers and provide appropriate programs to meet those needs. In addition, this position will provide the leadership for building the EBDC into an organization that is an asset to the community while being both sustainable and profitable. Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required. Program management and supervisory experience desired. Full-time position with excellent benefits.
ELECTRICIAN MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – Experience required as an apprentice electrician or journeyman electrician. Must have license or be able to obtain license in the City of Moberly. This position will also perform general maintenance duties, as required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

DATA SPECIALIST ASSISTANT – Part-time position, 19 hours per week, at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Must have exceptional computer, interpersonal, and clerical skills for data entry, reporting and office management.
SECURITY OFFICER - Part-time, evening position Monday through Thursday 5:30pm-9:30pm and Saturday 9am-2pm at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Experience preferred. Applicant must have a high school diploma, must pass a background check, and be willing to take first-aid, CPR/AED, and additional training as needed.
SECURITY OFFICER - Full-time position with benefits at the MACC—Columbia Higher Education Center from 12:30 to 9:00 pm. Duties and responsibilities include monitoring both people and property for safety concerns, locking/unlocking facilities, arming/disarming alarms, making ID cards. Applicant must have a high school diploma, must pass a background check and be willing to take first-aid, CPR/AED, baton, self-defense and pepper spray training.

Positions available in Mexico, MO:
CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR - needed for classroom instruction at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico. This is a part-time position consisting of 8 – 12 hours per week based on the class schedule: http://www.macc.edu/cna-training. The instructor shall be a registered professional nurse currently licensed in Missouri, have at least 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of experience in the provision of LTC facility services in the last 5 years. They must also be certified by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for this function or be eligible using the above criteria to attend a seminar approved by the Division of Aging to be approved as a CNA Instructor.
Positions available in Hannibal, MO:
ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY INSTRUCTOR – Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week. Bachelor’s degree with ability to obtain adult education teaching certificate. Prior teaching experience a plus. Will conduct program activities including teaching students who are studying for the on-line high school equivalency exam. Must be proficient with the use of computers.
Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):
Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Master's degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.
