Positions available in Moberly, MO:

 

 

BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY SPECIALIST - must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized, and be able to work in a team environment. This position will provide MACC’s Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center (EBDC) products and services to meet the needs of business and industry in the region. This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

 

DIRECTOR OF ACADEMIC SERVICES - Master's degree and background in higher education preferred. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills as well as organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills required. Responsibilities include working with the Dean of Academic Affairs in managing general education and transfer programs, creating course schedules, assisting with faculty and student issues, conducting research, preparing program reviews, and participating in other special projects. Full-time position, excellent benefits.

 

 

INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY/MECHATRONICS INSTRUCTOR - This is a full-time, 12-month instructor position. In addition to classroom duties, the instructor will assist with development and implementation of curriculum, recruitment and advisement of students, maintenance and organization of laboratory equipment, development of training resources, communication and consultation with local industry, and participation in assigned committees and college-wide meetings. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or integrated technology discipline required (or its equivalent in demonstrated professional competence.) Master’s and teaching experience preferred. Three years of industry experience is highly preferred.

 

 

DIRECTOR OF ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY - will provide supervision and direction of the Adult Education and Literacy program at MACC. Responsibilities include internal and external reporting and recordkeeping, supervision and training of instructors and staff, community outreach, annual planning and budget for the program. A minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required, experience with diverse groups preferred. Full-time position with excellent benefits.

 

 

ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY INSTRUCTOR - Part time, approximately 9 hours per week. Bachelor’s Degree and experience assisting adults in lifelong learning experiences required. Day & evening hours as necessary. Will conduct program activities such as classroom instruction, student recruitment and orientation, student progress tracking, report preparation, file maintenance, and attend training for certification and other related duties. Must be adept in Microsoft Office 2010 and daily computer operations, well-organized, creative and resourceful, maintain sound problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to interact with diverse groups of people. Ideal position for a retired teacher.

 

 

COORDINATOR OF NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH PROGRAMS - Position provides oversight for all Allied Health programs and reports to the Director of Nursing and Allied Health. Related teaching or educational administrative experience required. BSN required, Masters preferred. Three years full-time acute care clinical experience within the last five years in adult nursing and current Missouri RN license required. This is a full-time, 12-month position with excellent benefits.

 

 

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN - at the main campus in Moberly. Must be skilled in PC troubleshooting & repair, Windows, MAC, Linux, network wiring, equipment installation. Minimum of Associate’s degree preferred.

 

 

 

 

Positions available in Columbia, MO:

 

 

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTORMaster's degree in Biology or related field required; teaching experience preferred. Courses taught may include Biology, Human Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and Zoology. This is a full-time, 9 ¼ month position with excellent benefits. This position will be assigned instructional duties at the MACC Columbia campus. Online instruction as well as travel to other MACC sites may be required.

 

 

 

 

Positions available in Mexico, MO:

 

 

SECURITY OFFICERPart-time, evening position 20-25 hours per week at the Advanced Technology Center Monday through Thursday. Experience preferred. High school diploma required. Must be able to pass a background check.

 

 


Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

 

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred. ADJUNCT FACULTY - NEEDED FOR SUMMER 2013 AT THE MACC- HANNIBAL HIGHER EDUCATION CENTER:

 

Fundamentals of Math, Fundamentals of Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra. These could be set up as days and/or evenings.

 

 

 


ADJUNCT FACULTY - NEEDED FOR FALL 2013 AT THE MACC- HANNIBAL HIGHER EDUCATION CENTER:

 

Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. These would be evening classes.

 

 

 

PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS

The MACC Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center (EBDC) is looking for individuals interested in teaching customized training workshops for business and industry in our service area. Training sessions may be offered at a MACC campus or on the site of the company requesting the training. These training sessions are typically offered in workshop formats and short sessions.
