Positions available in Moberly, MO:

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PLANT OPERATIONS – Duties will include employee supervision, project management, procurement, budgeting and campus planning. Must be computer literate, know Microsoft Office (including Word, and Excel) and be able to learn multiple College-related software programs. Must have effective communication and leadership skills, be detail oriented and capable of managing multiple projects. Experience with facilities management preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. This position will report to the Director of Plant Operations assisting with all duties in the operation of the department. The Plant Operations department oversees all facilities, grounds, construction/renovation, transportation and the Physical Plant department for MACC's six locations. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position with excellent benefits.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST – Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must be detail oriented, have strong problem solving and organizational skills, and have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Cashiering, billing, and collection experience preferred. This is a full-time, 12 month salaried position with excellent benefits.

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN – Must be dependable, punctual, a team player and have good communication skills. Must be skilled in PC troubleshooting & repair, Windows, MAC, Linux, network wiring, equipment installation. Minimum of Associate's degree preferred.

PAYROLL SPECIALIST - Primary duties include payroll processing and account analysis. Payroll and/or accounting experience preferred. Computer skills are essential. Associate's degree preferred. Full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.

PART-TIME ADA SERVICES READER - Associate's Degree preferred. Applicants with some college course work and experience will also be considered. Ability to accurately read aloud and/or verbally describe visual course content such as algebraic equations, charts, graphs, and animations. Familiarity with a variety of internet and software applications is necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work within an educational team and maintain student confidentiality.

PART-TIME ADA SERVICES NOTE TAKER - Associate's Degree preferred. Applicants with some college course work and experience will also be considered. Ability to condense spoken information and record key points of class lectures and discussions is required. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work within an educational team and maintain student confidentiality. Proficiency with email and MS Word.

EVENING SECRETARY - Part-time position (hours are 4-9:00pm Monday-Thursday) at the MACC - Columbia Higher Education Center. Excellent clerical, organization, communication, and telephone skills required.

TAACCCT GRANT COORDINATOR/DATA SPECIALIST - This is a full-time, 12-month position for a three year grant which will include 50% responsibility for grant coordination and 50% responsibility for data management. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred in addition to experience working with student retention, grants or budget administration, and data systems management. Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work with the public and in a team environment in addition to experience in implementing software systems, entering, mining and analyzing data.



Positions available in Kirksville, MO:

NURSING INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR - Full-time, 12-month faculty position in Kirksville, MO, with excellent benefits, teaching and coordinating adult nursing courses in an exciting technology-mediated, Accelerated Associate Degree Nursing expansion program. Program utilizes web–synchronous instructional delivery between multiple sites along with traditional face-to-face instruction, state-of-the-art simulation manikin labs, electronic health record systems, and local clinical experiences. Three out of the last five years clinical experience or recent experience as a faculty member with expertise in acute care, and a current undisciplined Missouri RN license required. Postsecondary teaching and online teaching experience preferred. Position available immediately and open until filled.

PART-TIME EVENING SECRETARY – position available at the MACC-Hannibal Higher Education Center. Requires excellent communication, organization, clerical, and computer skills.




Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.
