ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF PLANT OPERATIONS - Assists with all aspects of daily operations within the department. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required to create complex spreadsheets, documents and databases. PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR - Adult Health clinical instructor positions available in the Associate Degree Nursing Program in the Moberly/Columbia region. B.S.N. and 3 years of recent clinical experience required, teaching experience preferred. Missouri RN license required.
CNA INSTRUCTORS AND CNA EXAMINERS - Moberly Area Community College desires to secure a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Adjunct Instructor for classroom instruction, and a CNA Examiner. Individuals applying must be certified by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) for these functions and be listed on the CNA Instructor/Examiner Registries. INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST - Responsible for development, implementation, instruction, and data management for public computer centers. Bachelor’s Degree and valid driver’s license required. Must possess the ability to work without close supervision and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with online learning management systems desirable. Full-time position based in Mexico with excellent benefits.
Positions available in Kirksville, MO:

NURSING INSTRUCTOR/COORDINATOR - Full-time, 12-month faculty position in Kirksville, MO, with excellent benefits, teaching and coordinating adult nursing courses in an exciting and new technology-mediated, Accelerated Associate Degree Nursing expansion program. Program utilizes web–synchronous instructional delivery between multiple sites along with traditional face-to-face instruction, state-of-the-art simulation manikin labs, electronic health record systems, and local clinical experiences. Three out of the last five years clinical experience or recent experience as a faculty member with expertise in acute care, and a current undisciplined Missouri RN license required. Postsecondary teaching and online teaching experience preferred. First student cohort begins January 2012. Position available immediately and open until filled.

Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):

Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Masters degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred. ADJUNCT FACULTY - needed for Spring 2012 on the Moberly campus:
Adjunct instructor(s) needed for Spring 2012 semester to teach Medical Office Coding and Medical Office Insurance courses. Medical Office Coding is an introductory course in ICD-9 coding, designed for entry-level coders who plan to work for insurance companies, hospitals, or other health care settings. Medical Office Insurance covers the features of public and private healthcare payment plans and provides experience in coding of professional services necessary for the completion of health insurance billing in the medical office. Classes will be held in the evenings, days to be determined.

The MACC Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center (EBDC) is looking for individuals interested in teaching customized training workshops for business and industry in our service area. Training sessions may be offered at a MACC campus or on the site of the company requesting the training. These training sessions are typically offered in workshop formats and short sessions.
