Mikesell Scholarship Awarded

Moberly Area Community College recently awarded the Gladys Mikesell Memorial Scholarship to Brittany Hancock, an ADN student.

The $750 award, established in honor of Gladys Mikesell, is given annually to a second-year nursing student who exhibits outstanding academic and clinical performance in the MACC nursing program. Gladys Mikesell was the grandmother of Retired Colonel Jeff Mikesell of Papillion, Nebraska, who was a graduate of MACC in the mid-1980s. Mr. Mikesell’s wife, Stacey, also graduated from MACC receiving her degree from the ADN Program.
