ACT Test ScheduleThe COMPASS or ACT test is required by Moberly Area Community College for placement into English and math courses.

*MACC is an approved residual test site and may administer the ACT to students for the purpose of satisfying the MACC admission requirement. These scores are not designed to be transferrable to other institutions.
The American College Test (ACT) is used for advisement purposes only and no student will be denied admission solely on the basis of an ACT score, except when used in the admission process to the ADN or MLT Programs. The ADN and MLT programs require an ACT composite score of 20 or more. ACT scores are available for students to pick up approximately four weeks after testing.
The fee for the ACT is $36.00. This fee must be paid at the time you take the test and is non-refundable.
The following steps are necessary to reserve a place for a specific test date:
1. Call or stop by Student Services on the Main campus in Moberly, the site office at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, or the site office at the Kirksville Higher Education Center in Kirksville to sign up for the test.
2. Pay the $36.00 fee in Student Services on the Main campus in Moberly, the site office at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico, or the site office at the Kirksville Higher Education Center in Kirksville the day you take the test.
3. You will be required to provide a photo I.D. and bring two #2 pencils the day of the test.
4. ACT testing time is approximately 4 hours.
