Positions available in Moberly, MO:
CERTIFIED MEDICATION TECHNICIAN (CMT) ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR - needed for classroom instruction In Moberly. This is a part-time position consisting of 8 – 10 hours per week based on the class schedule: http://www.macc.edu/cmt-training. The instructor shall be a registered professional nurse currently licensed in Missouri and hold a current Certified Medication Technician teaching certificate from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Division of Career Education. The Instructor also must complete an instructor/examiner program workshop and be listed as a qualified CMT Instructor/Examiner on the department’s Instructor/Examiner Registry.
BUS DRIVER - on a part-time, as needed basis for out-of-town trips including late evening travel. CDL required.
FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST - Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, be organized and have ability to manage multiple tasks. Must have good problem-solving skills and the ability to implement critical thinking skills, work under pressure, and produce accurate records. Must have computer skills. Primary duties include assisting students and families with student financial aid options and processing federal and state financial aid applications. Knowledge of federal and state student financial aid programs would be helpful, but will train. Hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits.
VOLLEYBALL OFFICIAL – Looking for an adult who can work Monday nights from 6-9pm at the Activity Center officiating an Adult Recreational Volleyball League.
MACC ACTIVITY CENTER EVENT STAFF - Looking for part-time seasonal event staff to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and some holidays. Must be dependable. Duties could include concessions, set up and tear down for events, cleaning, ticket taker, parking attendant, etc. Hours will vary, but less than 20 per week.
COMPUTER TECHNICIAN – responsible for installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of digital technology including items such as desktop computers, laptop computers, printers, network devices, network wiring, video projectors, etc. and personal computer software installation. An Associate's degree is preferred or a minimum of 2 years work experience in computer technology field. Qualified candidates must be detail oriented and have technical and communication skills. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

EVENING SECRETARY - Part-time position (hours are 4-9:00pm Monday-Thursday) at the MACC - Columbia Higher Education Center. Excellent clerical, organization, communication, and telephone skills required.
FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST – at the MACC-Columbia Higher Education Center. Duties include advising students and reviewing applications for federal and state financial aid, including Veterans benefits. Must work well with the public, have organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent computer skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and good problem-solving skills. Student financial aid experience preferred, but will train. Hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm. Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time with excellent benefits.

SECURITY OFFICER - Full-time position with benefits at MACC Kirksville Higher Education Center. Hours are Monday through Thursday 12-9:30pm and Friday 10am-5pm. Duties and responsibilities include monitoring both people and property for safety concerns, locking/unlocking facilities, arming/disarming alarms, making ID cards Applicant must have a high school diploma, must pass a background check and be willing to take first-aid, CPR/AED, baton, self-defense and pepper spray training.

CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR - needed for classroom instruction at the Advanced Technology Center in Mexico. This is a part-time position consisting of 8 – 12 hours per week based on the class schedule: http://www.macc.edu/cna-training. The instructor shall be a registered professional nurse currently licensed in Missouri, have at least 2 years of nursing experience and at least 1 year of experience in the provision of LTC facility services in the last 5 years. They must also be certified by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for this function or be eligible using the above criteria to attend a seminar approved by the Division of Aging to be approved as a CNA Instructor.

HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTOR - needed for classroom instruction in Hannibal. This is a part-time position for 14 weeks consisting of approximately 8 to 20 hours per week based on the class schedule. The instructor will teach highway construction skills in the classroom, in conjunction with other program staff. Will also oversee the on-site construction training. Must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in professional highway/heavy construction or similar.

Part-time College Instructors (Adjunct Faculty):
Availability of adjunct faculty positions is based on enrollment in courses offered at all MACC sites. Applicants will be added to our "pool" of adjunct faculty, with credentials kept on file for three years. A Master's degree is required for most subject areas, with 18 graduate hours in the subject area, and teaching experience is preferred.
