Positions available in Moberly, MO:


NURSING INSTRUCTOR/LABORATORY COORDINATOR – SIMULATION – lab coordination position with primary responsibility for simulation instruction in the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing Programs as well as lab coordination activities associated with the delivery of all the nursing programs. B.S.N. required; M.S.N. preferred. Current undisciplined license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri. Two years of medical-surgical experience and one to three years of experience in simulation and skills lab teaching, or a combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of the position. This is a full-time, 11-month position with excellent benefits. Applications accepted until position is filled.

TRANSPORT TRAINING ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR – part-time positon approximately 20 hours per week (negotiable) requiring a minimum of five year’s occupational experience directly related to truck driving and hold a current Class “A” CDL and safe driving record (no moving violations in the last 3 years, no chargeable accidents in last 2 years). Instructor must also complete and pass D.O.T. physical and drug test. The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, other professionals, staff and the public is required. Must possess ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with a variety of people, including students, staff and general public.

FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT - part-time position to work 19.5 hours per week in the cafeteria at the Moberly Campus. Experience in food services preferred. Must be able to run a cash register, complete the Randolph County food safety handler training course, and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

MACC ACTIVITY CENTER EVENT STAFF - Looking for part-time seasonal event staff to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and some holidays. Must be dependable. Duties could include concessions, set up and tear down for events, cleaning, ticket taker, parking attendant, volley official, etc. Hours will vary, but less than 20 per week.

Basketball Scorer’s Table – Looking for experienced personnel who can announce, run a scorebook or clock for the MACC home basketball games. Schedule will be arranged with MACC personnel.

CNA/CMT INSTRUCTORS AND EXAMINERS - MACC desires to secure Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Adjunct Instructors, Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Adjunct Instructors/Examiners and CNA Examiners. PART-TIME LIBRARY & ACADEMIC RESOURCE CENTER ASSISTANT - Evenings, 22 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Must be a responsible individual, able to assist students with electronic database services. A.A. Degree preferred.

SECURITY OFFICER - Full-time position with excellent benefits at the MACC—Columbia Higher Education Center from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Duties and responsibilities include monitoring both people and property for safety concerns, locking/unlocking facilities, arming/disarming alarms, making ID cards. Applicant must have a high school diploma, must pass a background check and be willing to take first-aid, CPR/AED, baton, self-defense and pepper spray training.

PART-TIME CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR - clinical instructor position available for Maternal/Child rotations in the Associate Degree Nursing Program in the Columbia, Missouri area for Fall 2018. B.S.N. and 3 years of recent clinical experience and teaching experience preferred. Current undisciplined Missouri RN license required.

ADULT EDUCATION AND LITERACY INSTRUCTOR – needed for MACC at the Vandalia prison. Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with ability to obtain adult education teaching certificate. Prior teaching experience a plus. Will conduct program activities including teaching students who are studying for the on-line high school equivalency exam. Must be proficient with the use of computers.

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN – at the MACC-Hannibal Higher Education Center. Must be skilled in PC troubleshooting & repair, Windows, MAC, Linux, network wiring, equipment installation. Minimum of Associate’s degree preferred.
