- The new Service Program is a continuation of the Society's 2002-04 partnership with the American Cancer Society. Read the Mission of the American Cancer Society. One of the most successful initiatives in the Society's history, the 2002-04 International Service Program was responsible for more than $344,000 and 124,000 hours contributed to the war against cancer.
